Corporate Paint and Sip Events: The Complete Playbook
Corporate bookings are the most lucrative event a paint and sip studio can run. Here's how to win them, price them, and turn one event into an annual contract.
My first corporate booking paid more than two weeks of public events combined. Once you understand what the buyer is actually buying, they're not that hard to win.
Who actually buys these events
The buyer is almost never the team. It's the office manager, the people-ops lead, or an EA planning the offsite. They need a low-risk, easy-to-organise, photogenic activity that ticks the 'team wellbeing' box. Speak to that buyer, not the painters.
Cold outreach that gets a reply
LinkedIn-search 'office manager' + your city, send 20 short messages a week. Lead with: 'we run corporate paint and sip team events at your offices or our studio — fully managed, 90 minutes, a finished canvas each. Worth a 15-minute chat?'. Reply rate is 1 in 10 — you only need a handful.
Price for the budget you're in
Public-event prices undersell corporate. Start at £55 to £75 per seat with a minimum spend (often £600+), and add line-items for branding on the canvas, photography, or premium drinks. The buyer expects this to cost more than a pub night — pricing it like a pub night signals 'amateur'.
Branding the canvas
Offer to pre-mark each canvas with the company logo, or design a custom painting that includes the brand colours. This is the upsell that turns a one-off booking into an annual one — the photos that come out of it get shared internally for months.
Logistics — be the calm one
Bring everything. Set up 30 minutes early. Provide non-alcoholic options. Run the session 10 minutes shorter than you would publicly — corporate attention spans are different. Pack down silently while they take group photos.
The follow-up that books next year
Send a thank-you email within 24 hours with a Dropbox link of all the photos, a single-line review you'd love them to send back, and a sentence about your January availability. That last sentence books 1 in 3 next-year repeats.
Pitch deck in your back pocket
Every Paint n Sip Designs painting includes corporate-style mockups (canvas-with-logo, branded group shot) you can drop straight into a pitch deck. We've done the design work so you can spend yours on the outreach.
